The Memory Collective - a photo series of love and loss

I started this project in 2015. I am hoping to give life back to this project soon. Pictured below are anonymous people and their hands, with quotes that involve them opening their hearts. On one hand, the right hand, is a quote from their own memory of a past lover entering the individual's life. On the other hand, the left hand, as their lover was leaving. What memory do you find yourself holding on to still when your hands are empty?
